"I knew that my plate, 1 GS, had substantial value, but was not getting anywhere trying to sell it--Gareth Southgate and Gordon Strachan notwithstanding--either directly or through the usual dealers. It was only after I was introduced to Dan that things changed, and he ultimately sold the plate for a higher price than I had dared hope for.
He impressed me from the outset by describing his hand-picked GS network, and telling me how he had networks for other combinations as well, built up painstakingly over many years. Just as impressive was how he handled the bidding process--juggling a half-dozen qualified potential purchasers whom he knew well and could converse with comfortably. We spoke frequently to advance the strategy throughout a ten-day process, until finally Dan arrived at the buyer for whom 1 GS was the perfect opportunity.
Dan made the process enjoyable by involving me throughout, so much so that I decided to travel up to Tamworth to close this sizable transaction.
In meeting Dan in person, I found a personable professional dedicated to his work, and, if I may say, a man with his life well in balance.

I don't often write reviews but I wanted to say what a pleasant experience it has been selling my registration 77 M.
Due to exciting news that we are emigrating we had to sell our registration number as it can't be used abroad.
I contacted 5 registration companies to work out its value, they all agreed to market our registration but 3 could not guarantee to pay us within 4 weeks. Two of the companies agreed one step further to buy immediately. I was a little nervous as it is a lot of money but as soon as I spoke to BOLD REG they put me at ease, they even offered to transact through my solicitor if it made me feel more comfortable.
GOLD STAR for BOLD REG! Not only did they offer substantially more than the other company but they paid me within 1 week of sending my documents to them! They also made sure I received an ordinary number plate which came back the same week on a new DVLA V5C document so that we could sell our car. They even recommended someone to buy our car! "I am so happy to own my ultimate registration number that I dreamed of from an early age"
"Having been fascinated by old number plates from an early age, I eventually bought my first dateless reg. no. in 1982, 21 GJH. Then 20 years later I purchased my second plate 21 GEF in 2002, however I always fancied my ultimate plate 1 GEF or GEF 1.
Anyway, several weeks ago while checking out the Bold Reg website over breakfast one Sunday morning as I did occasionally, I was amazed to come across the registration number 1 GEF.
On Monday morning I contacted their office and was greeted by a very polite sales person to whom I expressed my interest in the number plate. I was informed that particular plate was being sold by a client of theirs and they would contact them to enquire if it was available for purchase.
The following afternoon I received a call back from Bold Reg who informed me that their client was willing to consider offers over a certain figure. Soon afterwards I made my first offer, which was rejected. Then following two days of interesting negotiations and several phone calls between all concerned a price was finally agreed between all parties and Bold Reg had secured my ultimate number plate at a great price. Then ten days from the date of purchase my new number plate was on my car.
Speaking from my own personal experience, I would certainly recommend Bold Reg as a company to do business with and I found them
friendly, efficient and good value."
